Which square carries diamonds on Picture Frame Studs?
Diamonds border the larger lower square. A smaller plain square passes through it at the top, and both frames have open centres. Picture Frame Studs use that overlap to join two distinct outlines in each earring.
Do Picture Frame Studs stay entirely on the earlobe?
The upper frame sits at the lobe, but the lower corner extends beneath it. Because the linked squares sit at an angle, the stud ends in a point below the ear rather than a flat horizontal edge.
