The design, in detail
Are the wings of Butterfly Wing Studs filled in?
The wings are open outlines layered beside a round diamond. Butterfly Wing Studs set small stones along two of the three wing outlines and leave the middle one plain. Gaps between those curves keep the wing shape visible against your ear.
Do Butterfly Wing Studs form matching or mirrored shapes?
They form a mirrored pair, with the wing outlines on opposite sides of their round centres. Each stud has a tall upper wing and a shorter sideways wing, giving the butterfly motif an upright shape at the lobe.
