The design, in detail
Is the circle on Melting Loop Necklace completely closed?
The gold-plated silver version has a break at the bottom of its smooth circle, where the stone-set section begins. Melting Loop Necklace joins that opening to a tapering arrangement of small settings below.
How does the lower section narrow below the circle?
The settings spread across the base of the circle, then reduce to a single vertical line at the tip. Small gaps remain between the upper settings, so the drop has an open structure rather than a solid triangular face.
